When choosing a roofing company to replace our old roof, we finally narrowed down to three companies. Each company has a good reputation and its own advantages, it made us a little struggled with which one we should pick. Nick visit us again, patiently introduced more details about their product and warranty. He is so polite and professional, always responds fast to our questions. He convinced us Character Exteriors was the right company we should choose, and we never regretted the decisions we made. The project was done smooth and successfully, the new roof looks beautiful. We got lots of compliments from the neighbors. We will definitely recommend Character Exteriors to our neighbors and friends. We also want to say big "THANK YOU" to Rileigh Florshinger. Although never meet with her in person, she has been so nice and friendly on helping us order our favorite color shingles and arranging everything on the installation days. I shared a review a few weeks ago on part of our house project, which was the roof. They finished up the project with new fascia, soffit, and gutters. We couldn't be more happy with the staff and crews at Character. Matt has been awesome to work with. These guys are knowledgeable, clean, professional, and personable. Character exteriors came out and did new siding on my house. They identified some problem areas from water damage and fixed those issues while putting the siding on. They did great work with installing the siding and windows as well as fixing the water damaged parts of the house. They do charge a bit more than other places, but you can’t beat the quality, not to mention the warranties they give as well. I will definitely be contacting them for all of my exterior home needs.

We had a large tree limb fall onto our roof during the February 2023 ice storm, which caused damage to part of our roof, some gutters, and our chimney. We originally had a different company lined up to take down the limb and do the repairs, but they took a long time to remove the limb and Matt Ritchie, who had worked on the original roof installation only a year ago, saw it and stopped by to ask how repairs were going. They were not going and we had still not heard about when they would be out to remove the tree from the roof so we were a little worried about the other company handling everything. As a result, we decided to work with Matt and Character Exteriors for all repairs after the tree limb was removed. We are really happy to have made that decision because the repairs were handled with clear communication, well done, and done fairly quickly. They also did a good job of cleaning up after their work. As new homeowners, we never had a home insurance claim before and Matt was very helpful in working with insurance so that all work was covered with fairly minimal effort on our part. He also managed to find a bricklayer to repair the chimney, which was not easy to do. Rileigh was also really great in communicating exact dates and times for work to take place, which shifted due to rainy weather in April. Everyone else we interacted with was really kind and helpful. Hopefully we will not need any exteriors work for some time, but if we do we have no reason to go anywhere else other than Character Exteriors.

Collin was very professional and friendly. He took the time to answer all our questions on gutters and our future hopes of updates to our home. They then came and installed our gutters. The crew was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They were even sweet to my son watching from the window and waved back to him constantly. We can’t wait to have them back in the future for future updates to our home.

My new roof is being installed as I speak; I have been so happy with this company. Everyone has been so helpful and my contractor, Matt Richie, has done an outstanding job in helping me through this process. A tree fell on my roof due to an ice storm and the team at Character Exteriors has helped me every step of the way. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof.

Hi Character Crew! Well today you finished our big project! It only took 2 weeks - 10 1/2 days I think …. You all were so incredible. We will be recommending you to everyone! From Collin and Rileigh on the office end to Marty, Josh, Troy, and ALL the rest of the very professional and good natured crew that was here all day bright and early and didn’t even leave for lunch! Y’all played with our crazy 2 year old dog all day as he stole your lunches, tools and constantly wanted your attention…. Which you all gave him freely all day long! Collin, thank you for helping me FINALLY make a decision on the siding which I was really struggling with … you were so patient. And speaking of patience, dear Rileigh, thank you for the many calls and changes of design colors to the siding, the brick, the shutters, the doors… omg, on and on! You are such an asset to the company. I’ll finish this message to Marty and his fabulous crew. You guys did a great job! The siding is beautiful as well as facia, soffit and gutters, but my porch, I truly love! You made it look so pretty. Took extra time to make it perfect and even crawled up in the nasty attic to find me power for my can lights I wanted badly! From Mary and Jim, we thank you- job well done! Matt was fantastic to work with. He was able to walk us through an array of designs and different styles to get us dialed in on what we were looking for. He answered all questions in a timely, clear and concise manner that was easy to understand and left us with a solid understanding of the products being presented.
